When we panic or react to a situation we lose control to the event itself. We become irrational and we are not mentally in control of whatever is influencing our behavior. We are now applying a reverse movement, which takes us away from the solution as we give in to whatever stimuli that is now in control. We panic and begin grabbing and fighting, becoming tense and fearful as we continue to spiral into a pit of despair and compounded issues.
L.I.F.E. is like swimming. We can’t fight the water. We have to allow ourselves to float on it. If we react with panic and fear we are reacting to the situation and thus we drown. When we relax in the midst of the ocean of issues we can float and swim through them.
Reaction and action are total opposites. We must be consciously aware so that we are capable of taking action over allowing our fear reflex to be in control. We must be mentally strong so that we can think on our feet and not give in to panic. We no longer allow fear to cripple us with overwhelming feelings of anxiety. We no longer become frantic and agitated and incapable of reason and logical thinking.
The more we exercise self-mastery, the easier it becomes to stay calm in the midst of any storm. We are able to center ourselves to go to a peaceful state of being so that we can find the answers we need to take concise and assertive action to resolve our issues.
Learning to be calm means we have to tame our ego so that we allow divine intervention and spiritual manifestation to take place in our experience. We still our minds and find the peace that surpasses all understanding and once we know what it feels like and how to tap into it, we begin to exercise our conscious effort to stay grounded in peace. We learn that it is in the peace within that everything seems to work itself out on its own.
Getting still inside will give you a calm and collected behavior that will move you with ease and peace through each and every challenge. You have to play chess with L.I.F.E. It is a game of strategy, not one of willful force. The strategy you are learning is how to tap into the reserves within that are filled with all the answers you need to bring you full circle into the fullness of living.
When you feel yourself reacting, overreacting or panicked, it is time to take a chill pill. It is time to go within and tap into your own POWER. It is time to touch the hem of the garment, which is within you. It is the peace that surpasses all understanding. In the peace you will be calm and find yourself moving through L.I.F.E. with a strategy of ease that wins the game for you each and every time.
