We go through so much in L.I.F.E.™ that we allow our stuff to blind us to the directions we need to go. We keep running away from our problems, our pain, our disappointments, our challenges, and our issues and live in a denial type existence. We block everything out because we can’t deal with the stimuli that is designed to take us into higher levels of awareness. We become so complacent in our denial, that we deny we are in denial of our own truth and continue to live our experience on auto pilot moving so fast through L.I.F.E.™, while asking for changes that never seem to come.
You have to stop running away from yourself. Yes! Stop running away from all the stimuli that is designed to wake you up to see your own flaws. Stop running away from taking responsibility for your own issues, problems, pain, disappointments and challenges. You have to stop running and face yourself. You have to stop running away with denial and sit still with peace. You have to stop running away with your excuses you feed to yourself that somehow temporarily make your actions feel right in the moment, when you know that you can do more to make changes in the long run.
Somewhere in your mind you are telling yourself you are moving forward, but when you are not seeing any changes then you have to stop running and face the truth. You have to stop and take a long and deep look at yourself and see why you are running. What fear is driving you to run? What resentment has walled you up so tight that you can’t feel anymore? What disappointment keeps you shackled and ground from moving forward with your dreams? What issues have you allowed to be bigger than you are?
Running away from yourself becomes so second nature. Things happen and you simply brush them aside and bury the pain thinking it will simply go away. You continue to bury the next issue thinking it will go away. Then you look and find yourself in the middle of a mess of issues that seem to continually arrive in your experience. You have to stop running away from the reality of your own truth, no matter how ugly it is and face it. You have to face the truth that you have some cleaning up and smoothing out to do. You have to except the fact that you have a hand in everything that happens to you, either directly or indirectly.
When you stop running away from yourself, you will stand and look deeply into the depths of your own soul and find that the answers you need to make the necessary changes in your experience lie within. You will then begin to look at your track record and see you have not been training for L.I.F.E.™, you have simply been walking around the track, going round and round and round at the same pace expecting better timing, i.e. a better L.I.F.E.™
You have to stop running and sit and contemplate the part you play in all your own issues. What part are you actively playing in your own problems, disappointments, and pain? What part are you playing when you blame others for all the things that go wrong in your own L.I.F.E.™? Once you begin to see the part that you play, face up to it, and accept that you have some things about yourself that you need to work on, then you will see that things do not simply happen to you. You draw them to you through your own deeper mental issues.
When you stop running and look at yourself, you will stop blaming the people who treated you this way or that way and realize that they merely show up in your experience because of the deeper fears that live within you. When you stop running and look at yourself, you will stop blaming society, your job, your career, or other outside factors for the L.I.F.E.™ you are living because you will see the deeper issues that you feared have materialized in your experience. Like Job, the thing that you greatly fear has come upon you and will stay upon you until you wake up and stop running away from the truth of your own experience and the behavior patterns that have allowed certain things to be set in motion in your experience.
Stop running and face yourself. Yes! It is the hardest thing you will ever do, but is also the greatest gift you can give yourself if you want to experience greater things in your L.I.F.E.™ You were born GREAT, but you will never be GREAT until you stop running and face yourself. Once you do, you will improve your own character to consciously attract more of the things you truly want in your L.I.F.E.™, over allowing your fear to haphazardly bring forth the experiences you have been living over and over again on the runner’s track of denial.
